THIS IS MY STORY!

If you are like me, as this year ends, you are grateful and thankful for the dawning of New Year! As we reflect on this past year, no doubt we encountered some situations that had the opportunity to shake us and break us. There were situations that made us uncomfortable, situations that stretched us, and those situations that grew us.

“This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long” is what we sang in church on Sunday. As I listen intently to the words, I became somber and thankful in my expression to God for those situations, for those stories, and for the shift that occurred within me. My struggles of the past year, is part of my “STORY” that I can carry into my “New Year”!

Truth is, in my season(s) where it felt hard and difficult, is where I learned to trust God fully. In my brokenness, I became a better servant. I found it to be true that when I am weak, He is my Strength and my Shield. My STORY is, through it all, I gained greater wisdom, power, authority, and anointing. Greater faith, knowledge, and discernment. My story taught me to change my language so I could change my life.

Therefore, I will continue to praise my Savior because what might have, what should have broken me, blessed me.
