Begin Again!

Begin Again!

Have the Courage to Begin Again!

Many of you remember the tremendous pain and hurt I experienced when Will Oliver suddenly passed away almost two years ago.

Devastated is the word that comes to mind.

Fast forward to a heartfelt prayer and conversation to God last December. where I ask God to place someone in my life that would love me (almost) like He loves me, and He has been faithful!

Some of you have already reacted to my post on Sunday. (Thank you so much for your love and kindness) announcing the engagement of Darryl and I (when you know, you just know).

Again, I just want to encourage you and remind you that God is faithful and unchanging. So trust in His promises, be bold, and BEGIN AGAIN! It doesn't matter how bleak a situation may seem now, have the courage, and keep the faith.

Psalm 38 says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go. I will counsel you with my eyes upon." You must believe that He is with you.

Be encouraged on today!

Allow me to share some key steps in trusting in God faithfulness to Begin Again.

Trusting in God's faithfulness to begin again involves anchoring your hope in His unchanging character, intentionally recalling past evidence of His care, and actively surrendering control through prayer. Key aspects include viewing faithfulness as fact, engaging in daily surrender, and stepping forward in obedience to His promises.

Rely on God’s Unchanging Character: Trust that God is consistent and "the same yesterday, today, and forever," unlike human inconsistencies. His nature is loyal, patient, and committed to working all things for your good.

Remember Past Faithfulness: Actively reflect on times God has come through in your past, using tools like a journal to record answered prayers, which builds confidence to face new beginnings

View Faithfulness as Fact, Not Feeling: Choose to believe God is faithful even when circumstances seem chaotic and you cannot see evidence of His work.

Prioritize Daily Surrender and Prayer: Actively surrender your fears, anxieties, and desire to control the outcome through prayer. Call out specifically to Him, treating Him as a "non-anxious presence" you can lean on.

Focus on God's Promises, Not Your Understanding: Lean on Scripture to change your perspective, trusting that His plans are higher than your own, which helps when making a fresh start.

Take Actionable Steps Toward a New Beginning: Actively step into new opportunities, trusting that God provides for new, holy, and healthy beginnings.

Love y'all,
