The Heart of the Matter!

Like some, I didn’t understand the words that Bad Bunny was singing, all I know is, it felt electric and definitely was a vibe! In that moment, our souls were deafening to the loud noises of chaos and division. Before going to bed, my heart began to feel heavy. I inquired of the Lord, and He simply said, “heart posture.”

I reflected on the scripture that probes the question, “How can say we love God, someone whom we have never seen, but hate our brothers and sisters who we see”, simply because of the color of their skin, or where they come from? Heart posture refers to the inner attitude, intent, and spiritual condition of a person towards God.

We need to examine our heart postures. We should look at Jesus, remember and reflect His posture of humility for everyone. He called himself gentle and lowly before His Father and the people He encountered.

Ask the Lord to hold a mirror to your soul and show you (me) where our heart posture is out of alignment. It’s not about positions or performances, but it is all about our heart posture that matters to God.

Key Factor why your Heart Posture Matters:

Heart posture matters because it determines your inner alignment, shaping your character, relationships, and spiritual growth, rather than just outward actions. A right, humble, and loving heart posture fosters genuine connections and peace, while a poor one—rooted in pride or jealousy—leads to burnout, resentment, and a fractured spirit.

In essence, God is not looking for perfection in performance but a, heart that is, postured to receive His, grace and, align with His will,. “to love others, as we love ourselves.”
