Don't give up, God up!

Don't give up, God up!

Posted on November 18, 2025

This coming Thursday, (November 20) is the one-year death anniversary of my significant other; Will. As I sit and reflect on when I heard the news of his death, I was devasted and can honestly say that I felt like my life was ending. Although there were those that offered comforting words, the pain and agony of losing someone that you love; felt greater than my existence. I was so ready to give up. But let me encourage you, whether it’s a hard diagnosis from the doctor, a broken relationship, a job loss, or whatever else; don’t give up!

Each new day brings an opportunity for us to push into the dawn of fresh grace and mercy. When we feel like we are ready to give up, God helps by providing strength, peace, and guidance, and by reminding us that we are not alone and His love will see us through. He strengthens us for the journey, gives us wisdom, and offers a perspective that looks beyond current suffering to eternal hope. Through prayer, we can cast our anxiety on Him and find comfort, purpose, and renewed hope.

“Therefore, we do not lose heart.” (2 Cor. 4:16) because when we GOD-UP, instead of giving up, God will always show up. Life has been so different this past year, but I am so grateful for my small circle; but more importantly how God’s presence and power is evident in my life. Allow His presence to guide you and see you through.

Ways to stay encouraged when you feel like giving up.

  • Pray for strength: Ask God for strength, courage, and wisdom to get through the situation.
    • Cast your anxieties: Surrender your worries and anxieties to God, as He cares for you and wants to carry your burdens.
    • Trust and believe: Ask for help with faith, believing that God will generously provide what you need without finding fault.
    • Hold on to hope: Remember that God's strength can uplift you and restore you when you feel weak, providing the endurance needed for victory.

Love y'all!

Stay Encouraged!!
