Think right, and live right!

As I watched the Carolina Panthers play the LA Rams yesterday, (November 30) the game was electric. I thought about how tough football must be. No doubt, it produces a lot of physical challenges, but what the ninety percent of football that is just as tough, the mental aspect of it. In the game of football, success is not only in the body, but the mind. If you think tough, you will be tough. If you have a winner attitude, you win. What a powerful truth – on the field, and in the game of life.

The thought life of a mature believer must be well trained because the greatest battlefield for the Christian is the mind (Proverbs 23:7). What we think about powerfully influences who and what we become. Our actions, attitudes, and habits are born in the mind. We can literally change our lives by changing our language, and by changing how we think. Change your language, and change your life. In order to live right, we must think right.

In what areas of your lives do you need to speak positively over? God has given us the power and authority that works in us through Him.

Core principles to change your language:

Words have creative power: Spiritually and neurologically, the words you use can act as a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Mindset shift: Consciously choosing your words helps you move from a habitual, often negative, reaction to a more intentional, spiritually aligned response.

· Become Aware of Negative Self-Talk: The first step is to observe your current language and identify self-limiting beliefs or negative thought patterns, such as "I always mess things up" or "I have to do this".

· Reframe and Replace Negative Language: Intentionally substitute negative statements with positive, present-tense affirmations that align with your desired spiritual state.
